Feeling bad about not being able to get the reunion we had planned for this year off the ground yet. We were supposed to have it this month actually but everyone's been swamped with work,family and other commitemnts. Never mind, we'll get there somehow. Here's some snippets from our last reunion to get them fires burning! For some, just the mention of a reunion in the works got their creative juices flowing;in the literal sense-poems were written etc.....

We had a great time that night, clearly a meeting of like-minded souls. Eager beavers, all of us were. Sentimenatal and mellowed with age and though time had rendered some of us unrecognisable to the other(what with the widened girth and loss of hair!)we still shared the camaredrie we once did.... Felt like that few hours were not enough to fill each other in on what had been going on in our respective lives. 24 years just disappeared, with a handshake, a hug and all that talking. Some of us carried on till dawn-much explaining to do the next day to the other half! All worth it though.

It's been just great that friendship transcends gender, race,time,distance... Of course the bad and the ugly lurks close by but having good friends makes the journey through some of life's perils more bearable. I believe.
