Calls back the lovely April of her prime
-William Shakespeare
I can still recall the day you were born, 15 th April 1984. You were overdue by some six days which was normal for firstborns, according to the doctor and your Nana. That didn't stop me feeling anxious and nervous daily, just anticipating the day of your arrival. And then you were born! At 2:29 pm, you made your debut into this world... All the feelings of pain dissolved into oblivion the moment I heard your dad describe you to me; "long arms and legs. And lots of hair! Nothing can describe the feelings of exhilaration I felt the moment they put you in my arms for the first time. Dad went home and told your Nana about that "funny-looking head" and she had to reassure him that it was called "crowning" - when the baby's head makes that passage through the birth canal especially during long labours, the head tends to attain that funny-looking characteristic. Well, as expected, you had a very normal looking head a day later. :D
How the years have flown by my son; you're a young man of 24 now. Our love and blessings are with you, for always.

Happy Birthday Jeremy!
With love, Daddy, Mummy, Johann & Iman
